Living Saved And Single

Pastor Jonathan McDonald · 16 February 2025 · 45 min · 1 Corinthians 7:25–35

Singleness is not a sentence — it is a season with a purpose. Whether you are single, dating, or single again, this message asks what it looks like to give God the whole of an undivided season.

What is on

Weekly things run all year. Everything else is dated — most of it is easier to come to with a friend.

Never been to a church before?

These are the questions everyone asks and nobody wants to say out loud. Here are honest answers.

Plan a visit

What actually happens on a Sunday?

Singing for about half an hour, a message taught from the Bible for about forty minutes, and prayer. We start at 10:00 and you will be out by 12:00. Tea afterwards, if you want to stay.

What do people wear?

Whatever you own. Some come in a suit, most do not. Nobody will look at you twice either way.

Will I be asked to give money or stand up?

No. Visitors are never asked to give, and we do not single anyone out from the front. Come, sit at the back if you like, and leave when you want.

What about my children?

Children stay with us for the first twenty minutes and then go to their own groups by age. You check them in and out yourself.

Where the giving goes
