Eight ways to be useful here.
Serving is not for the specially gifted. It is how you stop being a spectator, and it is how most people end up with friends in this church.
Worship
For musicians, singers and anyone who has ever wanted to run sound.
The worship team leads every Sunday gathering and most special evenings. It is made up of four teams that rehearse separately and serve on a rota, so nobody burns out.

The rest of them
Each one lists what it does, when it meets, and who to talk to.
For 13–19s, and the adults willing to walk with them.
For under-12s, every Sunday, while their parents are being taught.
For anyone willing to pray for people they may never meet.
For people who would rather do something than talk about it.
For photographers, editors, streamers and social media people.
For people who want to know the Bible well enough to teach it.
For people who will go, and the ones who send them.
How joining actually works
Four steps, in this order. You can stop after any of them.
Come and watch
Turn up to one meeting and see what the team actually does. No commitment, no form to sign.
Meet the leader
Twenty minutes over tea. They will ask what you enjoy and what you have time for.
Serve alongside someone
Your first few times you are paired with someone experienced. Nobody is thrown in.
Take it on
Once you are comfortable, you go on the rota — usually one or two Sundays a month.
Not sure which one?
Pick the closest and say so in the message. The team leaders talk to each other and will point you somewhere better if it is a poor fit.
Every one of these teams started with one person offering.
You do not need to be qualified. You need to be willing and roughly on time.
